PERFORMERS' RIGHTS

This website documents the research project ‘Performers’ rights: making music in the digital era’ carried out at the University of Cambridge with funding from The Leverhulme Trust. The project originated at the Faculty of Music and was developed in collaboration with CIPIL, the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law, at the Faculty of Law.

Here you can find some of the data used for the project along with useful information for performers and other music professionals wishing to know more about the history and shape of the current legal framework for performers.
